Time is an essential component in my work. It is an evolution of process and layers, very similar
to the healing process. August 6, 1945 was a time of chaos, devastation, and death. As time
progressed we envisioned windows of hope. Nature took over; human nature of faith and hope
and God given nature of regrowth and renewal. Sorrows are now washed. Layers of color enliven
our souls. We are able to feel united and whole.

私の作品において時間は必須なものです。それは処理過程と積み重ねが進化したもので、ヒーリングの
過程に非常によく似ています。1945年8月6日は、混沌、荒廃、そして死の時間でした。時が経つにつれ、
私たちは希望の窓を思い描きました。そして、信頼と希望という人間の持つ本質、神から与えられた再生
と刷新という本質的な力が現われました。今、悲しみは洗い流され、色の層は私たちの魂を生き生きさせます。
私たちは調和と一体感を感じることができます。
