"A Broken Wing"
As a Japanese-American, I have a dual perspective to navigate the suffering and
lingering effect of the Atomic destruction caused in Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Creating within the context of such a destructive past is to create to re-humanize
the world, to somehow push back the specter of the past, and communicate how
future peace can be forged.

私は日系アメリカ人であるため、長崎と広島で今も続いている原爆の影響や被害について、
2つの展望があります。今回のように、過去の破壊的背景の基で制作することはすなわち、
世界に再び人間らしさを取り戻し、過去の不安を押しやり、さらにはどのようにこれからの
平和を構築できるか伝えることなのです。
